A Transportation Spending Account allows participating employees to set aside pre-tax funds to pay for qualified work-related transportation expenses. Unlike other tax-favored benefit plans which are structured annually, commuter benefits are exclusive to employees (not dependents) and are structured as a monthly benefit. There are two types of transportation fringe benefits. Employees may sign up for one or both:

Monthly Transit Pass/ Commuter Vehicle – Bus, rail, subway, ferry, and shuttle passes; van-pool; biking

Monthly Employee Parking

Catapult service features include debit cards, direct deposit, and reporting.
