Apex-MEC Plan Offering Overview

Apex-MEC offers a tiered suite of 2026 health benefit plans designed for employers of all sizes, built around ACA-compliant Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) as the foundation.

The MEC plans (Basic, Plus, and Plus Advantage) include preventive care at 100%, free unlimited telemedicine and behavioral health, and prescription drug benefits - with each tier adding physician office visits, specialist access, and diagnostic imaging.

These MEC plans can be bundled with Globe Life Group Limited Indemnity (GLI) coverage, which layers fixed cash benefits for hospitalizations, surgeries, ER visits, and outpatient services on top of the MEC base.

For employers needing full major medical coverage, Apex-MEC also offers ACA-compliant Minimum Value Plans (MVP) through TRES Health in three tiers - Premier, Choice, and Prime - all satisfying both ACA Penalty A and B. Finally, for the most comprehensive coverage, two OAP Platinum options are available through Cigna and Anthem, providing broad network access, extensive therapy and specialty benefits, and a full prescription drug formulary. All plans are guaranteed issue, level-funded, and administered by either TPA The Loomis Company or TRES Health TPA, with EDI capabilities for Employee Navigator.
